Cult movies or cult classic are usually strange, offbeat, eccentric and unique. Usually considered controversial because they step outside standard narrative and technical conventions. They are often ironically enjoyed and are loved because of the feeling of having found something special, of wanting to commemorate that feeling and share it with people.  And what a better way to do so than with an iconic poster.
